Fundacja Ziemniaki i is a Warsaw-based cultural organisation and not-for-profit that encourages and nurtures early-career artists, designers, craftspeople, writers and curators. We believe that there is no future without culture. that’s why we’re driven to work together on improving access, visibility, and working conditions in the creative arts, and encouraging their positive role in an open and free society.

We’re proud members of the Reset! Network and Trans Europe Halles’s EastHub.

In 2025, Fundacja Ziemniaki i was named the Sustainable Culture Promotion NPO of the year by Acquisition International.

Our team currently includes Josh Plough, Gabriela Stepniak and Kazia Strojnowska.

We are working towards a less polarised, more socially just and sustainable future through the arts.

That’s why we founded Warsaw’s first library for art research and activism.

We promote, educate, disseminate and collaborate on projects that propose sustainable approaches to art and culture for the 21st century and beyond.
